Design Guide | Mulberry and marine

Experimenting with different colour combinations has got to be one of our favourite things to do in the Imogen Heath studio, and this month we have been getting excited by the union of Mulberry and Marine colour-ways, prints and fabric.

Occupying a gorgeous space between blue and green, the Marine palette takes in oceanic aqua, punchy teal, cerulean and sapphire. Richly decadent tones of Mulberry pink - in a spectrum of light and dark shades - add an element of depth and drama to the scheme. By ustalising textures and prints, we have been looking at various way to combine our printed textiles with inspiring interior schemes, exploring the breath and depth of this beautiful colour pallet and how best to introduce it into our homes.

Combined these colours create rooms that feel fun and uplifting, especially when introduced across playfully mismatched patterns - a sofa upholstered in Heather in Rose with scatter cushions in Edith in Sea Green would make for a particularly special living room!
