A painterly celebration of British design for both classic and contemporary interiors
Imogen Heath is delighted to introduce a new collection of hand-painted wallpaper designs, crafted to transform interiors with colour, texture, and character. These latest additions to the Imogen Heath range extend her signature approach—where heritage-inspired motifs meet modern colour stories—into the world of wallcoverings.
Each design begins as a hand-painted original by Imogen herself, then carefully translated onto richly textured, eco-conscious paper. The result is a collection of wallpapers that retain every expressive brushstroke and bring a tactile warmth to any space. Whether styled in a traditional hallway or a contemporary bedroom, these designs offer a timeless presence.
Fyvie - First Light - Wallpaper by Imogen Heath
Inspired by heritage, rooted in the present
Drawing on personal family archives and the enduring charm of 1940s interiors, Imogen's wallpaper collection nods to the Arts and Crafts movement while embracing a fresh, contemporary energy. With motifs ranging from playful stripes to joyful florals, each design is a layered expression of artistry, emotion, and British craft.
Proudly made in the UK, these wallpapers reflect a commitment to quality, sustainability, and the enduring beauty of slow design.

Margie - Wallpaper design process
At the heart of every Imogen Heath wallpaper is a deeply personal, hand-crafted process. From initial sketches and brushstrokes to carefully tested palettes, each design begins as a painting in Imogen’s studio before being translated onto richly textured paper.
The images here capture the design journey behind Fyvie and Margie — two patterns that reflect both the spontaneity of hand-painting and the structure of repeat pattern. It's this balance of looseness and intention that gives each wallpaper its signature character.
With every mark painted by hand and every colour thoughtfully selected, our wallpapers tell a story—not just of design, but of time, place and memory.
