Playful Patterns - Introducing Leni Stripe

Experimentation with colour and pattern is something that we champion in the studio and in our collections. This year, playful patterns are taking centre stage more than ever as we bring joyful shapes, colours and patterns into our spaces.

The Leni stripe, a new design which has been introduced in our ‘Sarah’s Garden’ collection; is a new take on traditional stripes. With its illustrative, informal lines, Leni stripe is the perfect introduction to playful patterns and a great way to bring a fresh approach to stripes into your design schemes.

A horizontal stripe with a subtle wave in contrasting colours, Leni has been created in five different colourways that include fresh greens, tonal blues and playful pinks. Designed to compliment organic shapes seen in our newest collection; the lines within the Leni stripe are inspired by the hand-drawn sensibility of a conté pencil and ink pens, embracing the simplicity of fundamental drawing mediums. The quality of the line is then translated into digital print, whilst retaining its hand-drawn character and sense of playful movement; something that is seen throughout our newest collection of textiles and wallpaper.

Inspired by the use of the gestural line which embodies the freedom of drawing and the expression of joy that comes from the simple act of placing pen to paper. Leni stripe embraces the love of line, form and colour that Imogen is known for in her work.

From our collection of Leni Stripes, each colourway has been selected to be mixed and matched with other fabrics. Offering a curated colour pallet which could work in multiple spaces and applications. From drapes and headboards to cushions and footstools, the Leni is a print that can bring pattern and joy in smaller accents or larger statement projects.

We also offer the ability to create custom colourways, with our bespoke design service. We work with designers to create personalised colour combinations to provide the perfect fabric option for your projects and schemes.
