Join us for Brighton’s, Artist open houses

Join us this May as we open our Brighton showroom doors for the first time.

This May, we will open our new studio and showroom in Fiveways, Brighton, as part of Brighton Artists Open Houses.

Across four weekends, the space will be open to visitors, bringing together our collections of fabrics, wallpapers and embroidery alongside a curated selection of Sussex-based artists and makers.

Our work has always been rooted in hand-drawn patterns, materials, and a decorative language shaped by process. Inviting other artists into the space feels like a natural extension of this, bringing together practices that share a similar attention to surface, form and making.

Visitors are invited to step inside the studio, explore the work and experience the space in person.

Emma Harris

Introducing Emma Harris, an award-winning fine art photographer based in Brighton.

Emma’s photographic still-life studies are rooted in calm, seasonality and a deep connection to the natural world. Guided by shifting light and the quiet rhythm of the seasons, her work invites a slower gaze and a moment of pause, an antidote to the pace of everyday life.

Emma’s work will be exhibited throughout the showroom during the Artists Open Houses.

Alice Eden Jewellery.

Inspired by the Earth’s natural materials, Alice creates one-of-a-kind gemstone rings set in recycled sterling silver and gold. Each piece is shaped around the unique character of the stone, with a focus on simplicity, balance and material integrity.

Working from her Brighton studio, Alice’s practice centres on sustainability and craftsmanship, producing pieces that feel both refined and enduring.

Susana Garcia Ceramics

Working across porcelain and stoneware, Susana creates wheel-thrown forms that are later altered to explore shifts in structure, balance and surface. Each piece moves through a process of transformation, where functional vessels take on a more sculptural presence.

Her work draws on references from colour, pattern and architecture, particularly Brutalism and the industrial landscape, with these influences reflected in both form and finish.
