Design Guide | Coral and Cloud Blue

This vibrant combination has been catching our eye recently, and we couldn’t resist playing around with our fabrics to get the look. Sitting opposite each other on the colour wheel, orange and blue are proven to complement each other. Offering the sharpest levels of contrast, combining them in schemes creates dynamic and energetic rooms.

Sitting between pinks and oranges, shades of coral make for a really fresh and uplifting feel, while still offering a subtle warmth thanks to blush undertones. Blue speaks to us on an elemental level. Reminiscent of a summer’s sky and ocean waves, it’s an instantly calming hue that connects our homes to nature.

Together, these colours balance perfectly for an energised scheme that feels reassuringly grounded too. We love the idea of an armchair upholstered in our Anni Check in Nectar sitting against a soft blue colour on the walls.

We love the use of coral and cloud blue from some of our favourite interior designers who have all used the colour combinations to great effect, but in very different ways in these projects. We hope you find inspiration for your own rooms and embrace coral and blue in your homes.
